Unfortunately, the outcome of this experiment was concluded as negative. Although during the experiment, the psychologists did see results of ectoplasm two out of the fifteenth sessions. According to Dumas (one of the 4 psychologists), he was able to see a “gray substance hanging form the medium’s mouth.” It then disappeared when Eva moved her head. According to my research, it was concluded as negative because there was hardly any evidence that Eva produced ectoplasm. In fact, this was a chaos with the press because they believed that this was all made up and a fraud. The reason is because there was already drama known of the medium, Eva. Before she accepted the offer of helping the 4 psychologists, she changed her identity and was working with another psychologist (Charles Richet) which lead to the appearance of “Bien Boa”. Another reason there was drama with the press is because someone wrote in an article misleading information. In the article “The Marvel that Amazed the Sorbonne Scientists”, was stated that there was a living creature seen and touched, which was false because in reality nothing hardly happened, according to the 4
