Moving on to the greatest impact that affects females the most is social media. Technology is a big factor to it. Technology has become popular through the past years and is an important attributes to our way of living now a days. After technology, social media came to live. People can contact each other, share pictures, and many more things with a single press of a button. Social media comes with innumerable of Medias like magazines, television, and social network. Magazines are great to promote ads. Models is a good example to how society is strongly trying to change women. Photographers do photo shoots to skinny fit women. 1 in every 6 girls in America have been kidnapped by someone pretending to be another person through social media (Mata). This can lead to suicide. Kids can be very harsh which is come to the point where now every school needs to teach children how to protect and prevent themselves from cyber bulling. Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place using electronic technology. Electronic technology includes devices and equipment such as cell phones, computers, and tablets as well as communication tools including social media sites, text messages, chat, and websites. Just by telling a female that they are overweight, ugly, or not popular can really affect them. One in every four girls today fall into a clinical diagnosis such as depression, eating disorders, cutting, and other mental/emotional disorders. On top of these, many more report being constantly anxious, sleep deprived, and under significant pressure. A change needs to be made. It is absolutely lame that women are going through all this tough feelings just because society keeps on putting expectations that are inhumanly possible to
