How Sacajawea Changed The World

A week or so ago I was told would have to write a paper about a historical figure I would like to have lunch with and why. I spent a long time thinking and considering who I may choose to write about for this assignment. This world of ours has seen many magnificent people who have inspired and changed our world for the better. Who has changed the world, who has inspired many people through their actions. After a lot of thought, Sacajawea came across my mind. Sacajawea was the first woman in recorded history to vote. She has become a symbol for women everywhere. Sacajawea was a native American born to the Agaidika tribe, which is located between Kenny and Agency creek close to Salmon, Idaho, in May of the year seventeen eighty eight. In the year 1800 a battle occurred between Shoshone and Hidatsa, which resulted in several causalities. A group of Hidatsa kidnapped Sacajawea, currently age twelve, and several other young girls. I would like to know first of all if she was at all scared or worried to make the journey all the way from North Dakota to the Pacific Ocean. If it was difficult to bare a child not only at such a young age, but also on a expedition. What was running through her mind when she was kidnapped and forced into marrying an older man. Did she ever consider she would be the first woman to vote. Did she consider herself important to woman's rights. Did she ever consider how many people she would become a role model for. I would hope if I were to eat with her that she would show me new things. Possibly teach how to gather my own food. Show me what is edible and what is not. How to depend on nature and my surroundings. To show me how she lived, survived, and pushed forward. She is such a strong and brave woman. I would like to see how she
