Throughout the essay Freedman uses words that relate to peers. He acts very real and down to earth. An example would be "Let's go shopping.," (Freedman 141). In this example, he uses it so casual in the placement. It is very witty and whimsical. The reader feels happy and like Freedman is relatable. When reading you think that the tone of the text gives off a let's be real vibe. This aids in the persuasion of the reader to his view-point. He used reliable sources to back up his claims. Freedman was very effective in persuading people that not all wholesome foods are good for you. Moreover, that fast food resuraunts are changing for the better and we just need to give them time.
