How Is Technology Used In Healthcare

Other technologies used in health care is bed sensors and wearable technology. Bed sensors or alarms can detect if a patient is trying to get out of bed who are a fall risk. When the sensor or alarm goes off, it lets the nurses know at the station that a patient is trying to move which then allows the nurse to go check on the patient before an injury happens. Another technology that is growing today in the health care field is wireless communication. Wireless communication allows better communication from nurse to nurse which improves patient care and the quality of care.
