During the summer going into junior year, I went to a summer program located at FSU and it changed the way I saw life. Getting away from the negative energy really helped me change my life. While I was at FSU, I realized that once I was out of high school I could be my own person. I also then realized I needed to have good grades to get into college. When junior year arrived, I began focusing on myself and school. I raised my gpa and my grades, I felt happier even though my parents were still arguing. Although they were still arguing, it became a lot easier to deal with. I overcame my anger and sadness towards my parents.
