From the Renaissance to more modern 19 /20" centuries, clothing styles have teetered an tottered, clothing styles mainly changed depending on the amount of time it took one's own self to make the clothing. Alas, with breakthroughs in technology, we have been able to develop speedy trends. that are available at the snap of a finger. As is seen in many movies, the Renaissance period had quite fitted clothing. As Tailoring states, "Without closures like zippers and buttons, people had to often be sewn into their clothes (source 2). Women, needing a tight looking figure, wore corsets and used laces to tie up their clothing As the clothing for women became more fitted, most Western clothing became more intricate. For example, "Western clothing required more skill as designs became more complex (Source 2). Embroidery, of such as animals, became signs of wealth among the wearers.
