When we say something gives us energy it means that whatever we drink or eat will fuel us to work. We get our energy from sugars in our food. The biological definition of energy is the strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity. Sucrose and glucose are sugars that provide energy for your body. Glucuronolactone is vital for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein/tissue synthesis. Inositol helps control the body’s cholesterol level and it can have vitamin C or E. Niacin is a vitamin B that helps form energy in the body. Pyridoxine HCL is a another form of vitamin B6 and it plays an important role in the metabolism of fat, protein, and carbohydrates. There is no such thing as a sugar high because when glucose enters your body, you release more insulin. And insulin regulates the amount of sugar that you take in. A lack of sleep causes a lack of energy: When you lose sleep, your body's’ metabolism is affected the most. You aren't able to store carbohydrates, and your body can’t distribute energy. Which can result in the lack of energy. The claims of Red bull are legitimate because the product is taken when you are mentally and physically drained. Caffeine helps improve your concentration and speed and the molecules like D-pantothenol and pyridoxine HCL help stimulate your metabolism. It’s better to buy a can of Red bull than a can of Coke because Red bull only has 110 calories while Coke has 140. And Coke does not have glucuronolactone, sodium citrate, vitamin B12, pyridoxine HCL, D-pantothenol, glucose, inositol, niacin, and taurine like Red bull does. And although Red bull may not give you wings, it does give you a good amount of
