Older people who maintain social contact have fewer health problems. For example, older people who are married tend to be in better health than those who live alone. When older people live alone they may have problems and symptoms but they may not report it because they do not notice it or nor does anyone else, they may have no one to help them to take their medicines and prepare a healthy meal for them. When you start to age you will notice it’s more difficult to focus on object which are close up because of presbyopia. This is a perfectly normal loss of focusing ability due to hardening of the lens inside your eye. Also, some people are affected by hearing loss. There is no known single cause of age-related hearing loss. Most commonly it is caused by changes in the inner ear that can occur as you grow old.
