How Does Ebenezer Scrooge Change In A Christmas Carol

The ghost of Christmas future was remarkably quiet it was exceedingly good at its job. The way that The ghost of Christmas future made Scrooge think about the way he was so isolated was by showing him what people will think about him in the future. Scrooge then saw that p To begin with, anyone in the world can change, all they need is the will to change. Now in the novel “A Christmas carol” written by Charles Dickens is a little more complicated than that. The main character, Ebenezer Scrooge has been overdue for a change in both his perspective and personality towards the world and people around him. The three main characteristics of Scrooge that changed were rude, miserable, and lonely. Two businessmen were kindly asking him to spare as little as a $1 for people in need, and he replied with ”Are there no prisons are there no workhouses.” In Act II it was the ghost of Christmas presents job to set him straight from his rude ways, and that was exactly what he did. The ghost of Christmas present showed him homeless people who were fending for themselves because they don’t want to go to a homeless location just for their family to be split up. Just as Scrooge starts to feel bad for the family the ghost of Christmas present was repeating his exact words “Are there no Prisons, are there no workhouses.” From that point on he seemed to be more friendly, now knowing what other people have to deal with, and how rude he was too unlucky people, especially in this time
