The purpose of this unit is how do the different sphere’s work together to create the earth system. To create the earth’s system it will need the geosphere, hydrosphere and the atmosphere. If the earth didn’t have all three of these things, human’s will not be able to live on earth. Just imagine where we would be without the atmosphere. There would be no life on earth.

Without the hydrosphere many forms of life would not be able to exist including humans. It provides a place for animals and plants to live.
Another important sphere is the atmosphere. The atmosphere is the blanket of gases surrounding the Earth. It is made up of three gases including nitrogen (78%), oxygen (21%), and argon (1%). The atmosphere makes the Earth livable, it protects the Earth from some of sun’s dangerous rays, and traps heat keeping the Earth a comfortable living temperature.
