World War II is known as one of the most horrific events in the history of the world. World War II, also referred to as the Holocaust, took the lives of estimated 40 million people, and involved almost every power country in the world. Naturally, a war at this level of mass destruction had several long lasting consequences. After a period of time, countries redeveloped, especially America. “America’s economy was richer and more developed than any in the world” (Eversole). America became more devolved and became more successful than before either World War. World War II had many outcomes good and bad. Countries developed more liberal viewpoints and became more like the countries that exist today. Though the war had many consequences, in the end it molded our world into what it is today.
