How Did The Romans Influence Western Culture

What would the world be like if we were never provided with the water we need to survive? What would happen if we could never tell time using calendars or read stories written in the bound books? Luckily, we don't need to worry because, thanks to the Romans, we are fortunate not to have these situations today. Romans had the greatest impact on the world due to their knowledge in the fields of engineering, math, and literature. Not only that but the Romans’ culture very much influenced the western culture. For example, the aqueduct is one of the greatest innovations that the Romans created due to the incorporation of engineering and physics within the design. This highlights the incredible skill of the Romans. The Pantheon is a beautiful temple made by the Romans which showed their culture and beliefs. The Roman numerals were the first set of numbers used for counting and arithmetic. Great mathematicians and inventors also used these symbols to create their inventions. Bound books were one of the most significant literature innovations created. They let people communicate by writing stories or notes to each other, and, one of the reasons it was a success was because the bound books were a huge step up from cuneiform.
