When King delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech, he addressed over two hundred and fifty thousand people (MLKJ Online 1). Running short of his allotted five minutes, King added his “I have a dream” cliché to fill time despite initial recommendations from his aids (Younge 1). It started out as just another speech in Martin Luther King Jr.’s life, but in the context and emotion of this speech, this oftenly used cliché became his most memorable (1). Through his emphasis of the important points on ways, to end segregation in his speeches, King inspired an innumerable amount of
