The very next day the queen and her brother, the Viscount Rochford, were sentenced to the tower to await trial. Over the next week several of the queen's court were arrested for knowledge of or physical interactions with the queen. In a week's time all but two of them were tried, convicted, and killed. The king claimed that she had a sexual relationship with five different men, all members of the royal court and her brother, while they were married. In the ten cases she was charged as the sexual predator, but the men were also found guilty. On May 20, 1536 King Henry announced that he and Jane Seymour had been married and she was the new queen of England. (Anne) They were married one year and she gave birth to Prince Edward VI, she died of childbirth complications. King Henry went on to marry three more times Anne of Cleves, Catherine Howard, and Catherine Parr, he had no more children. After his death King Edward ruled for six years until his death, then his sister Queen Mary, and then Queen Elizabeth I the daughter of Anne Boleyn whom Henry had pushed aside. Queen Elizabeth I ruled for 44 years until her death.
