Despite all the facts they knew, England decided to take the fight to Spain. When fighting them, England was able to show its true strength and bravery. Englishmen knew that Spain's navy was much more powerful. Regardless of all that, they didn't hesitate to challenge Spain's navy and attack them. Brave men known as sea dogs used fast sailing ships to attack the Spanish. With this, they were able to beat the Spaniards. Being beaten so many times by England gave Spain only one choice. They decided to bring their armada straight to England to conquer it. But, English ships were able to pelt them with deadly cannon shots. After taking too much of a beating, the Spanish were forced to retreat. As they were retreating, a storm hit them. In the end,
