“The King Of Rock’n Roll”
Slick black hair combed back, a flashy pantsuit swaying back and forth catches your eye as the King steps out and prepares his guitar to play. Elvis Presley became one of the most famous american singers of the early 1960s time period. He became easily cherished by all age groups due to his snazzy outfit choices, incredible vocal and rhythm span and inspiration to the public. Elvis Presley changed the music industry for many individuals, embraced his creative sense of style and became a huge influence to the generation.
Becoming the “King of Rock’n Roll”, Elvis Aaron Presley grew up going through many obstacles and was exposed to new ideas that later lead to his music career. Elvis was born in Tupelo, Mississippi

His first official Number one single was “Heartbreak Hotel” completing his first number one album in 1956. (Biography.com) Elvis also signed a movie contract with Paramount Pictures and became a popular guest on many television shows. He recorded his first TV special in 1968 referred as “68 Comeback. (Biography.com) Elvis Presley had also in total starred in at least 31 films which shows that his acting skills were much wanted by many other directors. (Biography.elvis.com) On, March 24, 1958, Elvis received a draft notice being conducted in the Army, serving in Germany for almost a year and a half. (Biography.com) Soon after Elvis left for the Army, his mother Gladys passed away. He was given a grant to leave for his family. After the funeral, he returned back to Europe to continue his duty.
