The City of New York has been described as both crushing and hopeful, the gauntlet through which some of America’s greatest players have passed. From Alexander Hamilton to the man who revived his fame, Lin-Manuel Miranda, this city has extracted the raw talent of it citizens much in the way of a French press makes coffee, with boiling heat and then indomitable pressure. The city does not waste. It does not waste time, or resources, or space; like concentrated solution it seemingly pulls awe upward out of the ground. In this spirit Chicago architect Daniel H.
