Hex~
A hex is a form of positive protective magic that can positively manipulate or change the actions of myself, another person or their actions to help and benefit that person and to protect them from doing harm to themselves or others.
The term originally came from Norway and Switzerland from German immigrants who settled in
Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Dutch settled in Pennsylvania in the late 1700s to 1800s. The term came from their Old High German word for “Witch” or “hexe ”.
These immigrants brought their beliefs, customs, and practices with them and shared them in their new land. They also adopted some Native American traditions which became known as

A hex can be a form of protection or can be cast on another person to manipulate their behavior or circumstances in their life. For example, sending a hex to help break a drug addiction that is severely harming someone you love and harming others around them would be a form of positive protective and manipulative magic. Something I have done before is write on a piece of paper a person’s name, and all of the negative things that that person is doing to themselves or others, and reading it as a prayer out loud, and as I am reading, I am also feeling and putting intention out to “freeze” that person’s actions or harm that they are doing, put it into a plastic baggie, seal it, and stick it in the freezer with the intention of helping that person to stop harming themselves or others. Sort of putting their negative addiction on ice so to speak. It does work! Not forever, but for a temporary time. So, all in all, a Hex is really a positive form of magic that I didn’t realize I was doing, but in reality, I have sent hexes before! As I continue to learn and take classes at school,

Security needs increasingly affect all kinds of businesses in the West, and merchants in the United Kingdom and United States face possible litigation, property losses and nightmare PR scenarios when preventable deaths occur on their property. It doesn't really matter if these threats are deliberate, accidental, or natural disasters if negligence contributes to the damage or harm. Terrorism, hostile intent, and accidental encroachments on your property can generate big legal bills and settlements if full or partial negligence or poor building and landscape design contribute to your vulnerability and liability regardless of whether the harmful acts are committed by people who are hostile, careless, intoxicated, or incapacitated. Fortunately, security bollards can prevent unthinkable or unlikely intrusions of…

In policing just as in any other organization there are people who do it for the right reasons, and those who don’t. It is my personal opinion that ninety-nine percent of people that become police officers do it for the right reasons, and truly want to help the community. Although the majority of police officers are good willed, and want to help the community there are still what is known by many as the “bad apples”. A police officer can become a “bad apple” in many ways, either by temptations to steal money from a drug dealer that he or she just busted or by what is known as Nobel cause corruption.…

This is the meaning behind why they wear the scarlet letter. In the book, Hester is forced to wear the A and everyone knows her by that symbol. The Puritan community is more strict about what is and is not allowed. The scarlet letter is described as “[having] the effect of a spell, taking her out of the ordinary relations with humanity, and enclosing her in a sphere by herself” (Hawthorne 56). This explains why she has to wear the scarlet letter.…

Everyone has experienced classical conditioning and may not even know it. A common example is food: you ate something that made you sick and now you never eat it; you’re conditioned against the food because you had a bad reaction. In the most simple terms, classical conditioning or Pavlovian conditioning is learning a new behavior with different stimuli that create a reaction that can be repeated numerously through a recurring experiment. This kind of conditioning is seen in Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, and goes along with the theme, psychological conditioning is potentially dangerous, which I agree with.…

In Macbeth, Shakespeare uses his minor characters as tools to further develop the plot and conflict of the play. The word “minor” should not in any way determine the importance of any character. It is best to look at how that character motivates or interacts with the major characters; be it in a positive or negative way. Though the three murderers, Hecate, and Ross appear for a brief moment, change the course of the story, and then disappear from our sight and minds, they need the recognition that they deserve. To begin with, Macbeth persuades, or orders, three murderers to kill Banquo and his son Fleance.…
