He needs to improve his self-confidence. His confidence towards his actions lowered because of the pressure-weighted upon him to save the refugees and to maintain the same quality of the hotel. Through this, he doubts his every move on whether it is good enough. He must also improve his honesty towards his connections. He must minimize the use of bribery in incorporating in the deals. In this way, there is a transparency towards his leadership and trust in the relationship with his employees and refugees.

Yes, Paul is a charismatic leader. This is shown in how he deals with his foreign guests with care while they are all in a panic to return to their homeland. He stays calm and collected by pursuing the guest that everything will be in its rightful order. He also uses his charisma by bribing the militia officials in saving the refugees and placing them inside the hotel in exchange for money, and beer.

His commitment is evident by getting the task done through providing their everyday needs, and helping people by asking their participation in decision making and in the sharing of information. This is shown when he asks the people to call any of their abroad friends to ask for their help in that time of crisis. This is also evident in asking the staff for any suggestion on where to put the excess refugees when there is the unavailability of rooms.

Paul deals with his conflict through a clear line of communication and his flexibility between a father, a manager, and a friend. He uses his communication skills by giving information to the United Nations Army of what will happen in the future if nobody will stop the killings.
