Lifeguards: At the beach and the pool there is lifeguards on duty. They are on duty from 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. With having lifeguards it will keep the guests safe. Parents will be happy to let their kids out to swim knowing there is someone looking out. All lifeguards are CPR and have been trained to be lifeguards. This will help the hotel get more guest because most hotels in the area do not have lifeguards. This is an important thing to have at all places where there is a risk with water.
Babysitting: There is babysitting for children up to 12 years of age. It is open from 8:00A.M. to 8:00P.M. daily for all hotel guest. The price of a child per an hour is $10. There is one staff member for every 4 children. Every staff member is certified in CPR and has taken classes in childcare. For pick up from the hotel guest calls the hotel right before their flight takes off and lets the hotel know the time they will be arriving and there will be a van wait for them there. For going to downtown Newport the guest just has to call down to the front desk and set up a time for the shuttle to pick them up and it will be waiting for them at that time. For going back from downtown the guest will call the hotel one hour before desired pickup time and let the hotel know the time and the location the guest will be. For leaving the hotel the guest lets the front desk know the night before departure the time of the flight, so the hotel can have the van ready for the morning. This is great for our guest because most hotels in the area do not offer this service and it makes it much easier for guest who are not in driving
