Introduction Have you ever heard of a fashion brand named Hood by Air? Hood by Air (HBA), by Shayne Olive, was established in New York City in 2006. It has a specialization in men’s hip-hop hi-street fashion and produces higher-end fashion which emphasizes innovation rather than imitation. Combining avant-garde and hip-hop, HBA has become an unquestionable fashion trend and gained huge favour by celebrities and youngsters aged from 18 to 25, especially in Korea and America.

Where have you seen it?” are that most of them knew that HBA is a fashion brand specialized in men’s wear. However, some of them mis-realized that HBA is a fashion brand from Korea. Most of the interviewees have seen this band on celebrities from Korea and Hong Kong through Korean TV channels. Few of interviewees says that they have seen people wearing this brand on the street. One of the interviewee claims that she knows this brand because of her family and has never seen this brand before her family members started wearing clothes from this brand.

On the other hand, couples of the repliers indicate that Korean celebrities and youngsters wear clothes from this brand. Minority of them reveals that they are not confident on whether who wears this branding; yet, they predict that people who wear this branding are youngsters, and those fashion sensitive groups, as well as hip-hop lovers.

Moreover, there is half of them cannot realize the origin of this brand and mistake Korea as the origin of this brand. Another half anticipates that this is an American brand because of its style and the image of America. One of the interviewee is confident on its origin as America as America is the origin of hip-hop and the hip-hop market share is, in fact, large, HBA was founded to fulfil this
