Sexual Orientation has been a mystery for many. Some people believe that sexuality is biological and others believe it is a choice. Whether it is a biological given or your own free will, there is still countless hate targeted towards this subject.
In the 1990’s researchers at the University of Chicago established three criteria’s to be homosexual:
1. Sexual attraction to the same sex.
2. Sexual activity with one or more of the same sex
3. Identifying oneself as gay, lesbian, or bisexual.

Females, who society regards as the nurturers, the ones with the gentle hand and soothing voice are just as vocal when it comes to homosexuality as males are. In 2010, an eighteen year old girl, Ruby Thomas screamed at a homosexual civil servant, Ian Baynham before she stomped him to his death. Accompanied by her two friends, they ran off and bragged about the murder on Facebook and at school the next day. They denied the deceased man his rights as a human being, they took his life for granted as if it was a joke. Life is not a joke.
In Canada, all sexuality is tolerated. Homosexuals have been able to participate in same-sex sexual acts since 1969 and it has been legal for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community to get married in Canada for a decade. Nonetheless, although Canada is lenient with homosexuality, not all Canadians agree with it. There is discrimination against Homosexuals in religion, real estate, medical care, and also in the workplace.

There is such thing as LGBT Human Rights. No matter how a person looks, who a person looks at or even how you look at a person, we are all human beings, living, breathing, eating, sleeping and just trying to survive in this small world filled with hate against people who are the same by people who are the same! In Canada the LGBT community has the right to engage in same sex activity, legally marry, have no discrimination targeted towards them in the workplace, also to be recognized as a couple in society with their partner. LGBT’s are allowed to serve in the military, adopt children, legally change their gender, acquire health insurance, and many more. Although homosexuals can do almost everything a heterosexual can (other than produce their own offspring) it is still evident that discrimination in the workplace still exists and is spreading like
