Introduction
Homelessness in Australia is the health issue that we have promoted in the school. The rate of homelessness in Australia is getting higher and higher. There are many reasons why homelessness in Australia was chosen to be the issue. Homeless people are people who need to have a home and proper clothes. There are many reasons why they have become homeless. People cannot judge homeless people because every person has a different story. The reflection will discuss what homelessness in Australia, is different promotion strategies to promote an issue, why homelessness was chosen and discussion of the results of the promotion.

Homelessness is a major social justice issue. It relates to many other problems such as poverty, domestic violence, unemployment and family breakdown.
Promotion Strategies
Upon having our main issue that we are promoting we have come up with many ideas such as fundraising events, brochure, and donations of clothes. The group decided to do a coat drive and a brochure about homelessness. The brochure was attached to the survey that we have done. The brochure was chosen to be one of the promotion strategies because making a brochure can give people information about certain things.

The brochure contains information about Homelessness in Australia including the reasons why they are homeless, the rate of homeless people around Australia, ways to help them, impact of homelessness and general information about homelessness. Figure 2 and 3 are the brochure that promotes homelessness. The brochure was attached in the survey in order to save ink and paper. In addition, some of people today were somewhat more interested in reading it on the computer and mobile devices rather than a hard copy. However, there is one copy of the brochure that some of the students read before answering the survey. Having a brochure to promote homelessness is one of the best ways to educate people about

It contains seven questions that relate to homelessness and donation. The survey was promoted online and it was through a survey website called survey monkey. The survey was posted on Sentral with the help of our teacher and most of the participants in the survey was students from our school. I did the survey and collect responses through asking the teacher to share the link of the survey in the students portal. I made the survey and I have collected all the responses (Survey, 2017).
