The tall, lanky teacher strolled into the sweat-filled classroom and dropped his binder onto the organized desk. Leaning onto the wooden desk, he turned his back to the idle Smart Board and exclaims,
“Okay, class! Focus! As some of us know, Holocaust Remembrance Day is coming up. Last week as a class, we talked about the tragedies of the Holocaust and who they affected. Now, can anyone tell me when Holocaust Remembrance Day is?”

A small, pale hand rose from the mass of wet, stringy heads. The teacher nodded his broad head toward the child’s direction.
“Isn’t that in like in two days? I mean on the 27th?”
The teacher gleamed his pearls to the child and reply, “You are correct! However, this is not the same everywhere else. As you all know, the Holocaust did not just affect Europe, but rather it affected the entire world. While ours is in January, there are several “celebrated” dates for this day.
The teacher turned his back towards the students and picked up the small plastic marker scratched some text onto the plastic surface. While writing, his left-arm sleeve drooped and exposed a partial of a phone number on the back on his pale skin. Returning to his original position and continuing,
“For example, in Israel, they call it Yom HaSoah. Instead of January, it is in April. Make sure to write this down. We will talk about this more later. The spelling is on the board.”
A feeble voice squeaked from the back of the classroom, “Mr. Pickle! Can you repeat the pronunciation?”
Enunciating every single syllable, he widened his gigantic mouth in response, “It goes like this: Yoo – mah – sho – ah. Repeat after
