While taking HLTH371, three other students and I created a health campaign seeking to reduce stress faced by students attending UMD. This campaign took into account short term, medium term, and long term goals of the campaign that would enable us to reach our ultimate objective, “A Stress Free UMD”. HLTH490 also emphasized the importance of formulating short and long term interventions in order to meet the health need of a target population. When creating our health campaign, “Active Kids”, my group and I consider the short term, medium term, and long term outcomes we wanted to accomplish. We incorporated brief educational classes that were scheduled to last for about 3 months in order to address some desire outcomes of our campaign. The long term intervention that was proposed was a biweekly farmer market. This intervention sought to provide the target population with fresh fruits and vegetables in order to improve their daily
