The world has seen many leaders throughout its history. Leadership is inherently neither good nor bad, it just is. Hitler was an amazing leader but a terrible person and Martin Luther King was an amazing leader and by all accounts a great person. Both of these historical figures had the ability to influence individuals to achieve a set goal. This type of leadership did not occur over night but rather developed over the course of a lifetime. Fast forward into present day in the Army and we as Leaders are still learning from those of the past. The Army has 11 principles of unit training that are used to guide and direct you in the developing of others. I have narrowed the list of the 11 principles down to two that I feel are most important to
