High End Makeup vs. Drugstore Makeup Makeup is used in all places of the world in countless ways. The makeup industry has grown tremendously over the years and has brought people all over the world together. When it comes to the products, there are two main categories; high end and drugstore. High end makeup is makeup that is bought at Sephora, Ulta or any department store. It is usually priced higher and can be seen as expensive to spend on a makeup item. Drugstore makeup is any makeup that is bought at drugstores, such as Walmart, Target or Walgreens. This makeup is priced at what could be seen as reasonable for makeup. When both types are compared, the main categories to look at the difference in quality, availability, variety and price. …show more content…
The quality of the makeup product is immensely important because the product should perform well. Opinions of makeup users all over the world is the way products’ quality is determined. Products that are viewed as good quality products are universally known as good products because of the success the product has produced for thousands of people. The same thing goes for products with bad quality; when a product doesn’t work well for people, it receives unfavorable publicity and therefore is deemed as substandard quality. High end makeup is considered to be the better of the two types when it comes to quality. The majority of high end makeup has exceptional quality. It is made with better ingredients and stronger pigments.
