In the video Hidden America: Children of the mountains you get to see and feel what it is to live in the hills of central Appalachia. The stories of the children and families are just unthinkable in America. We take many things for granted in the U.S such as food, school, jobs and much more. But for the people living in these mountains there living in horrible conditions because they don’t have an option. Health issues are also a problem because of addiction, work conditions and lack of healthy food. It’s something that is not being addressed in America this is a problem that needs to be solved because these people can’t be living in such conditions.
