Erik was administered an 11th grade level passage, “The Time Machine” by H.G. Wells, to read aloud in English. His pronunciations were extremely precise, since Erik presents no language disabilities. Only one term was mispronounced from the paragraph; “anachronism”; however, it was due to lack of exposure to the word. When the enunciation for the expression was modeled, he repeated with great articulation. It is evident the student received excellent foundations in areas of phonology and morphology, since his enunciations are above average for a bilingual. As to fluency, Erik flowed through the passage without major hesitations and at a normal rate. After the reading, Erik was asked to elaborate on the account of the passage. He was able to
