Hepatitis C
If you didn’t know, hepatitis C is a virus that affects the liver. Hepatitis C is an infection that lasts for years in a person's body; most of the time without knowing. The way a person can get the virus is by touching the blood of someone that is already infected by the virus. “With chronic hepatitis C, liver damage can be unpredictable, advancing slowly in some people and quickly in others.”(zepatier) If a person even thinks they are having symptoms, it could be important to get tested for it. Genotypes are the 6 different types of hepatitis C. “Genotype I is the most common type of hepatitis C. Another less common type is genotype 4.”(zepatier) One of the main problems
