Henkel AG & Company, KGaA, is a German multinational company. Founded in 1876 and headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany. This operates in the chemical and consumer goods. It is organized into three business areas:

1. Laundry & Home Care (household cleaning products such as laundry detergent laundry and dishwashing liquid)
2. Beauty Care (beauty and oral care products such as shampoo, hair colorants, shower products, toothpaste et cetera)
3. Adhesive Technologies (adhensives, surface treatments, sealants for industrial purposes and consumer)

The company was founded in 1876 in Aachen as Henkel & Cie by Fritz Henkel (a 28 year old merchant who was interested in science) and two other partners. The first product which has been marketed

On a daily basis, the company's employees make decisions in a difficult business environment due to the instability in the market and its variety. Also, they have different experiences from different cultures and operate in a wide range of industries and markets. Therefore, the values of the company are clear, common and understood by all employees. Hence the leading position that Henkel holds in the global marketing for over than a century. Expands the global coverage of Shared Services Centers, the company will make significant investments and plans to open new hubs for the Arabic speaking region and Greater China / North East Asia in addition to its existing Centers. One of Henkel's targets for 2016, was the strong emphasis on IT, as the company felt it was important to increase the efficiency of business processes. Henkel was benefited and will continue to utilize the integrated global IT platform supported by additional investment of 140 million euros. The company in 2016 increased the efficiency of the supply through global hubs, expanding e-sourcing and reducing the number of suppliers globally by around 40
