Hector and Achilles fight on opposite sides of the Trojan war. Hector is more admirable because he fights for peace between Troy and Greece rather than Achilles , who fights to kill. To put it differently , Hector seems to fight for his country while Achilles seemed to fight only for himself. Hector wants glory on the battlefield and also acts as a team player.
