This study is all about the comparative analysis between commercial soup containers and homemade soup container. This study is being supported by the following theories:
Principles of Heat Transfer. There are three ways on how heat transfer. One is through solid material that is conduction. Two is through light that is radiation. In addition, the last is through convection. These are all according to the U.S. Department of Energy.
These principles of heat transfer support this study because it deals with a hot material, which is the soup, transferring its heat from another material. In this case, the soup will be the source of heat and the ways on how heat must be transferred should be stopped in order for the transferring …show more content…
The conceptual paradigm of the study is consists of three parts: the input, the process, and the output. The input contains the different variables, the independent and dependent variables. The process contains the way on how to identify the best type of soup container in keeping soups hot for a long time by measuring the temperature every hour. The output contains the best container in keeping soups hot for a long time.
Statement of the Problem
This study entitled comparative analysis between commercial soup containers and homemade soup container determined the best container in keeping soups hot for a long time. Specifically, it answered the following questions:
1. What is the best container for keeping a soup hot for a long time?
2. Which container cannot keep a soup hot for a long time?
3. How much time does each container keep a soup hot?
4. What is the temperature of the soup before putting in each container?
5. What is the difference of the temperature of the soup when it is hot and when it becomes cold?
6. Which type of the commercial soup containers can keep a soup hot for a long time?
Hypotheses
A. Null Form
The homemade soup container is cannot keep a soup hot for a long time
B. Alternative Form
The homemade soup container can keep a soup hot for a long time
C. If Then
