The heart of man is where transformation begins. It is actually the very first organ God gave life to our bodies. Its first heartbeat was impeccable. However, as we age, it is becoming dull and deceitful too. Why? In reality, we live in a fallen world and nothing can make it whole again…

As part of the sanctification process, a corrective spiritual heart surgery is necessary. Without this, our hearts are impenetrable by the wisdom of God – unable to see and respond. In the natural, in order for a heart surgery to take place, we need a surgeon, a patient, and tools. Spiritually, we are the patients (Christ-followers), the Holy Spirit who resides within us is the surgeon, and the word of God is the tool. In order for the operation to commence, the patient needs sedation. Call out to Jesus! "And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love" (Romans 5:5).
Jesus entrusted us this utmost command:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength" (Mark 12:30-31).
How can I love you with all my heart, I inquire of the Lord? In His goodness, He gave me a dream where He expressed the following:
“Cry out in desperation…
Hunger and thirst…
Depend on My Spirit…“
To love God with everything that I am leads everything back to “pursuits”. Will I pursue Jesus? What my heart says, He sees. I cannot hide anything from whom that searches all hearts.
Those who thirst come and drink, Jesus said. For those who believe: “from his innermost being will flow “rivers of living water”” (John 7:37-38).
