This study will help us reduce the stressors in our life and help us pursue happiness. It will also open the door to research on possible ways of dealing with negative psychological risk factors. This study also gave us an insight on how heavy unemployment, poverty and carrying too much loads can increase tress and in turn heart disease in human life.
Strength and limitations of this study
Limitations: I will say that that the selection process for the participants was very poor. The genetic history of patients in this study were unknown, so it is very difficult to ascertain if the patients who developed heart disease have inherited the disease from their family. Also the size of this study was small. My tip to the research would be to come up with a system to eliminate every one with a family history of heart or cardiovascular disease from the study.
Strength: The strength of this study was the accuracy of the data using the PET/CT scan, as well as the long duration of the study; these are noble strengths of this study.
