In the last few years Health Science has become one of the most growing professions there is. With its broad range in occupations and specializations the interest for professionals in the field is booming fast. The need for professionals to provide health care to others will always be on demand. Therefore, Health Science is a good career choice that would always have jobs, opportunity to advance in this profession and will always help other humans with their health concerns. My bachelors of Science in Health Science focus in the field of natural and social sciences, such as the mathematics, professional and humanities aspects. It also provides knowledge in the healthcare industry from the medical aspect to the policy and operations in which healthcare professionals carry themselves. The health science degree could also help as a stepping stone for many students who are trying to get into a graduate school or a specific related healthcare field. Traits that will help future healthcare professionals succeed in their profession. A good healthcare professional needs traits such as good communication skills that will help establish a good relationship between them and the patient. Furthermore, the healthcare professional will need traits such as compassion, and be emotionally stable to handle stressful situations that would most likely be encounter in this field of healthcare. When I see the traits that are needed in order to move forward with this career path, I realized that I fit in perfectly in this profession because I possess these qualities and more.
