The location where people live is certainly important when comparing it to the health of the individuals. Geography location leads to the type of nutrition or “diet” that people have. For example, people in Sub-Sahara Africa do not have access to rich nutritious foods like people in the Unites States do, therefore undernourished bodies lead to poor work ethnicity and education and that eventually leads to poverty. Also the type of health care access that is available to that area. This includes the genetic makeup and sex of a person. Genetic makeup can relate to many health factors that we experience throughout our lives. For example, genes are inherited and this includes both the good and bad genes. Diseases are pasted down each generation and we as humans have no control of this type of disease we may be exposed to. Sex is also related to health in numerous ways (Skolnik, Richard L.Pg. 20." Global Health 101). Females and males are obviously very different and can be exposed to different diseases than one another. Also, in some countries, their cultures and religions hold males and females at different levels of hierarchy. Males are more dominant and receive better health opportunity's than the females
