Hazelnut Research Paper

“What's inside of a hazelnut?” I asked myself on a hot June day 5 years ago. I was outside with my dad, who had every Friday off in the summer. He was plowing some fields with the tractor, and I was of course getting myself into trouble. I had recently gotten a fold out knife that I brought with me. I was just roaming through the woods trying to find something to do, when a hazelnut caught my attention. I walked over to it, plucked it off of the branch, and grasped it in my palm and forefinger in my right hand. With my left hand I gripped the knife and aimed the tip in the center of the hazelnut. I yanked the knife away from me and the hazelnut slipped out of my hand. The knife pierced my skin on the tip of my forefinger.

I hopped off the ATV, and ran over to the tractor. Dad stopped the tractor and gave me a funny look because of my shirt that was wrapped around my hand. I explained to him that I had cut my finger, so we both drove back home.
Once we were inside I ran to the bathroom and he ran to get the medical supplies. I started to uncover it and blood started draining out. At first I thought it was a minor cut, something that we could fix up, but we both looked at each other and knew that the hospital was the best choice. I grabbed several paper towels and got into the truck. My dad is not very good with blood so when he looked at my shirt which is full of blood I was kind of worried he would pass out in the middle of driving.
We finally arrived at the E.R. and had to wait 10-15 minutes until we saw the doctor. In order for me not to feel my finger they had to stick a needle right into the laceration. I was hoping not to get stitches, but instead I got 13 of them. To this day you can still see the results of my mistakes from years ago. I never got to find out what was inside of that

Elie had a childhood that was taken away many times in the book. Without a doubt, Elie had a childhood before he was liquidated to the ghettos like every other child in the camps. When Elie was in the ghetto, two weeks before Shavuot, he talks about his childhood, “Children played games, rolling hazelnuts on the sidewalks. Some schoolmates and I were in Ezra Malik’s garden studying a Talmudic treatise” (Wiesel 12). This shows us that he had a childhood and what it was like before the ghetto.…

I'm going to tell you about the time I totaled my first truck. It was not a fun experience all the questions and talking to the cops it was not fun. Anyways how it happens is pretty simple I was just driving home from work all is well. The human body has approximately 5 liters of blood in circulation at any given time. Therefore, when a blood vessel is ruptured or damaged, as a result of an injury, it is vital that the loss of blood is minimalized. The process that enables this is called haemostasis. In terms of Rosemary’s ‘quite bad’ cut on her finger, as a result of slicing it with a kitchen knife, her body will react quickly by following all three stages of haemostasis. We can assume this as a result of the bleeding taking a while to stop.…

However, for myself it happened to be both. I love to hunt all sorts of game such as: deer, squirrel, turkey, and dove to name a few. Hunting all these animals obviously requires the use of several different types and calibers of guns.…
