There are more women living in Harvey than men. According to the US Census Bureau (2010), the population of Harvey was just over 25,000 people, of this number 12,300 were men and 13,000 were women. Also, there are more African American people than any other ethnicity in Harvey, the African American population make up over 75 percent of the population in Harvey making them the majority. In Crest Hill, there are more men living there than women. The population of Crest Hill is over 20,000, of this number over 11,600 were men and over 9, 600 were women. The people who have achieve a high school diploma or higher most likely have good jobs and people who don’t have jobs in that location either have good resources to help them through the tough times or live in Crest Hill, but work in another city. Making Crest Hill a thriving city to live in. In conclusion, when you compare both cities of Harvey and Crest Hill, it is clear that Crest Hill is doing better economically than Harvey.
