Speeches make most people nervous. If I was less nervous I feel like I would have done even better at keeping eye contact. If I wasn’t so nervous I would have been able to stay away from my card and the PowerPoint a lot more. Also if I was not as nervous as I felt when giving my speech I would have remembered more easily that I have to cite my sources verbally. Lastly because of my degree of nervousness I forgot to give a conclusion that wasn’t cut short because I wanted to sit down. I have learned a lot about myself from doing my informative speech. I have learned that my eye contact with the audience and my extemporaneous delivery are strengths that I want to keep having and making better. But I also learned that I have weaknesses that I have to work on to give a better speech, which are practicing citing sources verbally more and trying to not get so nervous that it hinders my ability to do a great
