Playing a card game changed Dustin’s life giving him a hobby that involves percentages and numbers to make money. Playing poker is a good way to make a lot of money with your spare time and it’s also really fun to do. Dustin realized that there’s a lot to learn and hardships to overcome to make poker a hobby that’s not frowned upon by others. He watched T.V. one after noon and saw The World Series of Poker was on. Dustin watched professional players play and win consistently with their cards they had and their chip count kept going up as they played. Dustin is struggling with money and needs a good way to make a better income with doing something he likes to do. He wanted to know how they were playing poker like that constantly and thought it would be really fun to play a game that seemed consistent at winning and get paid …show more content…
Matt knows a lot about poker and knows how the game works. When Dustin went to go talk to him about poker Matt replied with amusement “no problem let’s get started on the basics!” Matt began to describe with great detail the rules and basics of poker. He said “there are fifty two cards in a one deck and you can play up to one to ten players at one table. The dealer gives out two cards to every player and places three cards face up on the on the field after ever player has placed their blinds.” Dustin replied confused “what are blinds and how are they used?” Matt replied “blinds are the starting bid for the hands dealt by the dealer to the player. Everyone starts with some staring chips and you have to be careful not to lose them or its game over.” Dustin wounded and asked politely “how does the chips work in poker?” Matt said “you can place any size bid or even go all in with your chips or choose to discard your hand to protect your stack of chips if you feel your hand is
