Amy Laskowski, in the article Could Facebook Use End a Marriage, found that the heavy social media user compared to the nonuser were 16% more likely to think about leaving their spouse. In todays society, as people scroll through their Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter feed they come across feelings of jealously towards there friends. These feelings of jealously are what then causes doubt in a happy relationship or marriage. Social media just like romance movies, create these false expectations and unrealistic love stories everyone longs to have. Woman come across posts of their best friends who have the perfect body, perfect husband, lives in the perfect house with the perfect kids, while men come across posts of their buddy who just went on a four-day golfing trip, gained 10 pounds in muscle, and married the most attractive young woman. In both cases, men and women find themselves wondering why their life did not turn out better and doubting everything they have accomplished. Luke 17:1 says, "Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through who they come." People forget to remember that every great relationship is not great because it does not have any problems because like the bible says, people are bound to stumble. Tianna has recently graduated from high school, is newly married and within the next nine months has to plan to travel over to the air force base in Virginia for her husbands final two years of service. They have come across many barriers and struggles already but are always willing to sacrifice themselves for each other, knowing it is for the greater good. Tianna has had to sacrifice her schooling in Indiana and being close to her family for the next few years to be with Ben, in Virginia. Tianna and Ben are both Christians and understand that their relationship has already been difficult and will continue to have its difficulties throughout the marriage; however, the love that these two share for one another cannot be lost if it is exercised every day. If one were to ask Tianna or Ben if they believed that the other just magically walked into their life, then they would disagree. Marriage is not about finding the right spouse but rather being the spouse that is uplifting and encouraging, helping the other to grow. It is safe to say that before the happy couple met, they first had to accomplish a lot of things individually and to be happy they will have to work at there relationship every day from here on
