Some interesting facts that James Berardinelli has provided the audience of the essay with contains the actor and producers fascination with the play Hamlet I was not aware of this information. It is impressive that at the young age of eleven that he had dreams of producing an “un-bridged” version. Since I have a child around this age (he attends the Greater Hartford Academy of Arts) I am shocked. My son has never been interested in this, last semester he attended a digital media class where they examined the possibilities of producing such plays. But once again no interest!

I consider it the best one out of the ones offered. I really like all the key details he provided the audience with. I felt he went above and beyond with all the extra information regarding Branagh’s directing past including the movies Henry V and Much Ado About Nothing. It was also fascinating to learn that it was filmed in 70 mm. he provided an immense amount of detail to make the audience want to see the movie. My friends would not be interested in seeing Shakespearian movies but with all the positive details and listing it in his eyes as one of the best movies in 1996 they actually might consider
