In order to identify determinant factors that affect employees’ performance in Habru woreda public organizations the following research methodology components were applied. It focuses on the area description, research design, population, sampling design and sample size determination, research instruments for data collection as well as data analysis techniques. Area Description
This study conducted in Habru Woreda public organization. Habru Woreda is one of the Woreda in North Wollo zone in Amhara region of Ethiopia. Habru is situated an altitude ranging from 1200 - 2350 m.a.s.l at 39038Ꞌ E longitude and 11035Ꞌ N latitude in the semi- arid tropical belt of North - Eastern Ethiopia. It is located 491 Km from Addis Abeba to north, 390 km from regional town Bahr Dar, 290 Km from Mekelle and 654 Km from Debre Markos. The woreda has 30 rural kebelles and four sub-urban administrations, with a total area of 1,239.79 km2. According to Aliaga and Gunderson (2002), quantitative research is explaining phenomena by collecting numerical data that are analyzed using mathematically based methods (in particular statistics techniques).
