Those who do not support gun control show that they want violence and don’t think about others safeness. If stricter gun laws are made, less mass shootings, less innocent people died, overall more lives would be saved. I believe medical background checks should be enforced because these background checks will give the government and any businesses selling guns more information about the customer, such as, mental stability. Most active shooters suffer of depression, or other mental healths that no one can determine unless they seek help or are tested for it before they buy a gun. Medical background checks wills have a lot of lives because businesses won’t sell guns to those who suffer some type of mental health. If not boundaries are set between the customer and a gun more lives will be lost. Once a gun is in the wrong hands, everybody is at risk and no one can stop the next mass shooting. I support gun control because I’m a civilian who lives everyday in fear that I can encounter a mass shooting tomorrow or that any of my family members will. I support gun control because I care about my safety and the safety of others. Taking guns out of the hands of people, unless they are cops, will decrease the number of fatalities in the
