Entrepreneurship is a business decision. You take as a risk about setting out on your own to pursue a business or career from the bottom. With little to no help or money, only thing you’re going off of is a dream and wish. It has been defined that entrepreneurship is the capacity and willingness to develop, organize, franchise to manage a business venture along with any of its risks in order to make a profit. According to Jordan Weissman (2012) an entrepreneur has been defined as a person who starts, organizes and manages any enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risks. It has been stated that America does not have as much financial support as other cities to support larger business. Americans still have a fairly strong, if weakening, tradition of creating businesses from scratch and trying to support those who do. America has been said that we as a country does not support our own kind in business. But yet in other countries and cities they are supporting each other in business. That’s a reason our economy is lacking and not succeeding as such. According to Amy Haimerl (2015) the number of businesses owned are by African American. Since 1997, black females have been the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs in the U.S. Overall. Meaning woman in general are now owning more successful businesses than men. It has been stated that business are expected to succeed more if own by a male, which as shown is not accurate
