Simply put, he had fallen asleep after doing four hours of homework, now, however, a door was begging to open.
“Kousei! Hey! Watari and I wanna say hi and hang out- open the door!”
The boy, Kousei, sighed once again before answering the door for his friends. “Hey Tsubaki, hey Watari, why are you two here?”
“I wanted to hang out and Watari said that he didn’t have anything else to do, so I dragged him over,” the small girl at the door said, a large grin plastered onto her face as her eyes sparkled.

While Kousei was in the upstairs area, Watari turned to Tsubaki and said, “He still hasn’t played?”
In reply, Tsubaki said in a quiet voice, “Yeah, I miss it. He was so much cooler when he played piano. If only Saki didn’t have to go, he would feel so much better.”
Kousei came back downstairs after a little, sensing the apologetic atmosphere. “Hey, Tsubaki, it’s cool, I’m not mad or anything. Come on, let’s take a break.”
A few minutes later, all three of them were outside and walking to the small park across the Towe Hall Performance Center, otherwise known as the THPC. Tsubaki and Watari had left him to get one of their friends, a girl who was supposedly meeting them
