The Titanic set sail in Southampton on 10 April 1912, Titanic called at Cherbourg in France and Queenstown (now Cobh) in Ireland before heading west to New York.

Secondly the characters points of views are all goofed up, at first the book had just Berrymans point of view for 6 chapters or so when they switched to Patrick, I thought it was Berryman and it got

In the book Sir Francis Bacon wrote a book called the Essaies and everyone wanted it because it had secret codes and was very valuable. According to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Works_by_Francis_Bacon he write a book in real life called the essays. Also, Emily and her mother might be fake because in the book the author doesn't include a last name and so you can't really figure out if they were real or not but on http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/titanic-passenger-list/ there was an Emily on board. Lastly, in the book it says there was a murderous villain on board the titanic and looking for the Essaies and would kill anyone who would get in his way but on http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/mcgough-the-killer.html it says there where 2 killers on board, a firefighter and an abled body

“The Lifeboat” by Charlotte Rogan tells the story of a character named Grace which has just survived a shipwreck, and is now trying to find her way back to land in a lifeboat which is overcrowded with 39 other passengers that she comes to know. Grace reveals her story in first person, chronological order; from day to night of being on the lifeboat until becoming imprisoned for supposedly murdering a fellow character by throwing them overboard. This book questions morality and whether or not it is acceptable to practice in essence, Darwinism or survival of the fittest. Rogan references The Titanic in a part of her book, which takes the book back into being a part of the historical fiction genre. Readers may enjoy the adventure, struggle, and…

Passenger ships normally travel in what’s called the “summer route” from January 15 to August 14. The sinking of the Titanic has often been inaccurately portrayed in popular culture. This is because the Titanic’s appeal in popular culture is largely based upon fictionalised or exaggerated depictions of historic events. Despite this, the sinking of the Titanic has left an undeniable imprint upon the public consciousness and has generated countless novels and films aimed at entertaining the general public through dramatised depictions of the mass sinking. The historical event is one of human interest due to factors that surround it; the hubris surrounding the ship prior to launch, the impact of social class juxtaposed with chances of survival and the fictional characterisation of historical personages on board. It is this contrast between…
