Greer turned around to find her seventeen year old daughter Susanna outside staring up at the sky. Curious, she went to the window, started to open it, changed her mind, walked to the door that led from the kitchen to the back porch and then joined her daughter in the backyard.

"What are you looking at?" She asked as she turned around to see what had enthralled her youngest child.

"Possible meteorite." Susanna said, pointing off in the distance at a bright object headed their way. "The radio announcers said that the comet that was passing in Earth's atmosphere would likely break up into pieces today and that we would have small chunks."

"Define small." Greer said as she gave her daughter a pointed look.

Susanna turned her head to glance at her mother before turning her attention back to the fiery object in the sky. "Relatively small?" She replied with

A lot of people do that, I would hope you realize that by now." Greer countered as she joined her daughter in putting on their shoes.

At that moment Greer's husband, came down the stairs, already ready to go. "People like to live closer to their jobs, that is what we did when your mother started her job at the university that your brothers Blaine and Dylan attend now."

Susanna nodded in understanding. Her mother was currently the Assistant Financial Aide Director while her brother Blaine was going for a Bachelor of Arts in History while her brother Dylan was learning how to become a teacher. Her sister, Fern, had gone to a nearby culinary school and was the oldest out of the four of them at twenty one and a half years old. Then it was Blaine at twenty years, Dylan at almost eighteen and a half and then it was Susanna at seventeen years of age. Susanna never really understood why her parents had four kids that close in age. By the time Susanna was born, Fern had already turned six years
